In my studio, I am working on peonies and florals, more birds of various size canvas and wood panels, and also some fun and delicious still life paintings.
Some peaches I plan to paint.
Sunny sunflowers inspire me.
Right now there are a lot of violets, ground ivy, and lily of the valley on the ground in my yard in Elmhurst.
I am really enjoying the fleeting moments in the garden with the perennial wildflowers.
I also have colorful pansies in pots around the house.
And a few carnations and fun things.
Love this pink!
Just some photos from around the house. First, the blood oranges are in! Have you tried these? Red as wine inside. And delicious too!
Second, the dried gouache in a flower-shaped palette looks like a work of art to me! Freshly bloomed.
Third, grape hyacinth starting to fade. Will put in the ground soon by the peonies in the back yard.
Fourth and last, some seed packets to go in the Elmhurst house garden.
