My daughter, Audrey, is a talented photographer. She recently took these photos of me. I love the greek-goddess halter style flowing gown she let me borrow. Necklace is my own.
You can't tell. But we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. I think they really cut short our photography session. But we got some nice shots anyway.
Nasturtium flowers are easy to grow here in the Midwest, USA. They really are effortless, provide nectar and pollen for bees and butterflies, and both leaves and flowers are edible. I find there is no need to spray them either, so they are totally organic and pesticide free.
Here are a couple ideas. The first is just as a garnish for almost anything. Here with vanilla ice cream. I've also put them on cakes, salads, and omelettes.

I just got back from Idaho last night. I've been working on shipping orders and finishing up some projects.
If you are on vacation, hope you have safe and happy travels. Back in Chicago now where there has been a ton of rain. Had some problems in my home here and am doing a big cleanup project. Had to repair some pipes. Other than that, life is good.
