What I'm Working On
I've been working on some new bird and flower paintings mostly in watercolor and gouache on paper. But here is a rose painting I recently finished. I really love painting roses in both watercolor and oil painting. A white rose is especially difficult because one things there is no color in white. But there are actually many colors.
And here is a picture plane I made with some glass. I've been having fun with it, looking for interesting objects in the home (and especially interesting views) to paint.
Spring Flowers and Watercolor Paintings
In the house this week. Getting ready for spring with daffodils, lilies, and new watercolor paintings that have springs flowers in them.
Working on redbud blossoms and cerulean warblers.
