Right now there are a lot of violets, ground ivy, and lily of the valley on the ground in my yard in Elmhurst.
I am really enjoying the fleeting moments in the garden with the perennial wildflowers.
I also have colorful pansies in pots around the house.
And a few carnations and fun things.
Love this pink!
I have moved a lot of my watercolor painting and acrylic painting to my Idaho art studio. They are both paints that dry quickly, which allows me to easily ship and produce them. While the actual painting time can be painstaking slow with watercolor, they are dry within 24 hours. Look forward to more watercolor and acrylic paintings as well as my usually favorite oil paintings.
Just some photos from around the house. First, the blood oranges are in! Have you tried these? Red as wine inside. And delicious too!
Second, the dried gouache in a flower-shaped palette looks like a work of art to me! Freshly bloomed.
Third, grape hyacinth starting to fade. Will put in the ground soon by the peonies in the back yard.
Fourth and last, some seed packets to go in the Elmhurst house garden.
Hello there! I have been working on this bunny rabbit with a butterfly on its nose. This here is the first layer. Sometimes I like the first layer and feel it doesn't need much else! But I will keep adding layers and really build it up hopefully well.
