Is Something Eating my Iris?

Doesn't it look like something is eating the iris? It's been such a long winter season.  At least there are flowers inside.  More pics of the bouquet on the dining table. The forsythia, And some bananas and watermelon in the kitchen. An interesting flower study I did of a flower market in Marienplatz, Munich Germany after visiting.

Spring Flowers in the Dining Room

Loving all the colorful flowers in the shops right now.   Also loving the berries and fruit from South America.  I know it's not local but when I was in Miami I saw cargo jet after jet look like it was coming in filled with fruit and it really does taste fresh and sweet. It's been freezing with snow outside here in Chicago and Idaho.  But tomorrow will be in the 70's for temperatures.  That's in Fahrenheit.  Will feel nice after this long, drawn out winter season.   There are also forsythia blooms in the house.

Cool Art at the Art Institute of Chicago

I always love to visit the Art Institute of Chicago.   I've been anxiously awaiting the reopening of the Rennaissance and Armor exhibit.  The new exhibit is in a beautiful space complete with cathedral ceilings and gothic arches I overheard a tour guide speaking to a group of young people about how gritty and industrial the city is and that the Art Institute provides a place for beautiful art and collections as almost a refuge from the grittiness of the city. It really does feel like a refuge.
