I took a walk today and was at the park. The park put in a new path that is pavers and absorbs water runoff better than the pavement it replaces. It's not only more conservation minded, but really helps as the city of Elmhurst sits in a flood plain.

Yesterday I shared a video of me painting a honey crisp apple. I painted it at night and so the colors were a little dark in the video. Here is the painting in the daytime. Good enough to eat! I think I will just eat the apple instead. :D

I was taking photos of this bird through my front window. He had his back turned to me, peeking out from the side. Then all the sudden, he turned and faced me straight on as if to say, "I dare you." :D
I'm working on some spring paintings including songbirds and pastel spring blossoms. I have a few in my shop now and will soon add a link here in this blog post as soon as I curate and add a few more pieces and create a collection. It will be called "Spring Has Sprung". Hello Spring!
