Do you see the turtles sunning themselves?
Yesterday my friend and I were doing some plain air painting and drawing. I mostly did sketching. It was the perfect day with not a cloud in the sky. Plenty of birds and flowers blooming. The trees finally leafing out. Woodland plants unfurling their petals.
Yesterday after running errands I took a walk in Wilder Park by the Elmhurst Art Museum and Library.
The weather was beautiful. The grass was a little wet. But I tried to stay on the trails.
I stopped in the conservatory, which was full of pink geraniums.
There's the library. And below Wilder Mansion. (I remember when it served as the library.)
I recently started diffusing essential oils in the home. Not only is it satisfying, it's fun to use. The variety of essential oils is vast and practical. One can get calming, uplifting, cleansing, sensual. It may sound hoaxy. But the oils really can lift the mood or calm the mind (in my experience).
Even as a young child, I never liked the chemical scent of air fresheners. But essential oils are a different story. They are genuine organic oils (by organic, I mean not man made -- but some are certified organic too).
A few things I am Loving right now like this hippo sachet filled with jasmine and a hippo card.
This matcha bowl, spoon, and whisk and also the marble coasters I got for Christmas.
And this dry shampoo Rahua, which is 100% natural and made from absorbent clays and products from the rainforest. No chemicals are in it.
