I saw a magpie and happened to capture it in flight by the playhouse the other day.
I also saw a flock of birds eating dandelions or something. Always a treat to see who has come to visit.
In the spring, the male deer and elk drop their antlers. Then they grow new ones in the spring. It is fun to hike the hills where they have been and try to find them.
I love the smell of the sagebrush hills; not fully awake yet.
There are signs of spring and contrasts such as bright green, velvety moss peeking through a blanket of melting snow and twisted sagebrush.
Max, our corgi dog loves to wander. He is quite independent, unlike our border collie.
Even though he has short little legs, he can cover a lot of territory!
