News — oil painting RSS

I am working on several larger 3 x 4 foot oil paintings that will are ready this spring.  None are complete.  Here are some current photos of works in progress.

In winter I like to work painting a few hours in the afternoon until dark.  It still gets dark fairly early.  But soon the days will be longer and we will change times by one hour as well. Here is first layers of a floral painting. One of the cats in the studio.  

I have many paintings in various stages of progress and completion because I work in layers. When they are finished I will be listing many of them.

Hello there!  I have been working on this bunny rabbit with a butterfly on its nose.  This here is the first layer.  Sometimes I like the first layer and feel it doesn't need much else!  But I will keep adding layers and really build it up hopefully well.
