The currants are loaded with berries.  Time to pick some! The crows and other birds are also eating them.  I am sure the bears up the canyon are enjoying some too. I accidentally spilled my bucket of berries on this hillside.

I was looking for Western Tanager birds and saw that a bunch of chokecherry trees were in bloom. A grove of chokecherry trees. Aspen grove.  Do you see the bear marks? Currant flowers. Syringa blossoms on in the foothills. Wild berries.  

Bob the cat by the lilacs. Baby pinecones. Can you find the birds? Rain on the daffodils. Apple blossoms. Rainy day lilacs  

Springtime Mountain Snowfall.  It's a good thing lilacs like cold weather. More snow-covered lilacs. Plum blossoms got a dusting of snow too.

Found this photo from a couple years ago of me picking cherries.  I love cherries and all sorts of fruit.   Also a few other photos from same "Roll" of film (SD Card heehee). Anyway... Some nature photos.   This May things are cooler so things are running a bit behind.  But looking forward to all the fruit and flowers to paint and to eat. western tanager close up in watercolor picked cherries for pies  the enchanted forest
