My adorable baby chicks are getting their adult feathers now. Hi!

I found an abandoned hummingbird nest in the yard below the pine tree.

I took photos of my baby chicks when they were little.  They are big now and outside.  They were afraid of my camera.  Painting some baby chicks right now. No, this is not a chicken egg.  It's a goose egg.  :)

While practicing my tendus at ballet class at Joffrey Ballet Studios, Chicago, one morning I noticed a beautiful scene.   Among the hustle and bustle on State Street, a family of sparrows was sharing a meal in a freshly leafed out elm tree.

Baby chicks from Easter at my parents' farm in Wisconsin. Put your left foot in.  Put your left foot out.  Put your left foot in and shake it all about  Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself about.  That's what it's all about!
