While practicing my tendus at ballet class at Joffrey Ballet Studios, Chicago, one morning I noticed a beautiful scene. Among the hustle and bustle on State Street, a family of sparrows was sharing a meal in a freshly leafed out elm tree.
I recently blogged about some baby birds that had fallen out of their nest during a rain and thunder storm. And they subsequently died. But the good news is, there is so much little life in my neighborhood and even back yard. This is my neighbors light and is seen from my back yard. The mother is eyeing me because she knows I am taking a picture. She was so fat but is now thin and agile again. Her babies will chirp and she will come running.
