I have been busy baking and painting a series of paintings focused on sweet treats such as cupcakes and fruits like strawberries.  I am enjoying both painting and baking.  Will be ready and for sale in about a week.

Currently on the easel.  Asparagus. 

Today I am painting some ballet pointe shoes.  I really like the effects of painting satin and ribbons.  

For the month of January, I decided if life gives lemons, to make lemon paintings.  Lemons are in season and affordable so... I find it's a great exercise for me to start the day with each one turning out different.  I love the sunshine yellow color this time of year.  Hope you do too!
