I did a presentation for the Elmhurst Artist Guild and it went very well!  I really enjoyed seeing everyone and talking "shop".  This photo was of my painting demo.  I painted a little chickadee.   We also talked about how I got started, my art profession, and my future plans.  A lot of people mentioned my loose technique and had many questions both about my painting style and techniques as well as my business and career as an artist.   Thanks to Sarah Johnson and Bala for filming the presentation. What is the best way to hang your art? There are many articles and videos online regarding this subject.  But what I can tell you is that it always pays to get your art up and out of the box!  Even if its not perfect.  For example, if you purchase a painting like the one shown.  And hope to have it framed but want to hang it unframed until you are ready to frame, I think that's a great idea.  Maybe you will grow to like it without the frame!   Art is so fun because it adds life to a room.  It can brighten any corner.   So go ahead and get your new artwork up on that wall....
