I didn't paint this spider's web, which was photographed in Idaho.  But I did use it as inspiration for the watercolor painting in this video:

It's been so beautiful outside that I have been working with watercolor paints in my back yard.  It's a little risky with the leaves and other debris that lands on the paper.  But it's worth it to me.  I love feeling the sun on my legs and I work and the change in light patterns makes work come alive.   And besides this little guy I actually finished today (here is a quick video if you are interested): And here are the yellow lilies I blogged about last week...
